lighting package or not?

Can anyone give me advice or opinion on lighting package? $1900 is a bit steep. I have seen photos and videos of the lighting package and like the look, but has anyone regretted it or done without it? Does ambient lighting come with it?

Thanks,

MP

I like the looks of the Lighting Pkg.

I don't know that I would write a check for $1,900 for it if I were sitting down and ordering it.

I don't believe there is much difference in functionality.

The lighting package is awesome, it isn't just looks. It's worth every penny.

Had it on a loaner, loved them, very bright. However $1900 is kind of steep. Just my 2 cents

Have it on my 550xi. Get it.

It's brighter and sharper than xenon. The auto highbeams that come as part of the package can be very useful too if you're driving through an area where you're constantly flicking on/off your highbeams.

Oh, and yes they look snazzy too.

$1,900 in the larger scheme of the car is a drop in the bucket. But if you're going to compromise somewhere, there are certainly packages you should prioritize above this one - including all of the interior technology packages, IMHO. But to each his own - weigh your options.

I was in the same boat, got it and never regretted it, but that's me.
