That was just f-cked up and totally done on purpose. Hope nothing unfortunate happens "by accident" to his Escalade in the near future!

Sucks man.

I know the exact feeling when you saw those carts next to your door. The same thing happened to me with my previous 535 when i went to BJ's. Parked way way out in the back but I came back to my car seeing a massive dent on my rear door. In my case i think the wind pushed the cart into my door going at a high rate of speed. My dent was much deeper and couldn't be repaired by PDR.

I understand that things like this the person leaving the car didn't intend for this to happen but its still their laziness and negligence that caused this to happen. I can't stand people that finish loading their trunks just to shove the shopping car aside right next to other cars around it.

It looks like he was too lazy to take the cart back to where he should, he left it in the car park and the wind (or downward slope of the tarmac) blew it against your car, right?

Only 3 likely scenarios - If he didn't know that was a possibility then he's a Fool. If he knew it was possible but didn't care then he is an inconsiderate Tool. If he saw it was actually happening (as it was definitely within his field of vision) then he is a narcissistic Prick and karma needs to hit him hard.

In the event of the second scenario then I'd like to hear that a flock of Pterodactyls crapped in unison through his open sunroof and he could never get the smell out, no matter how much he spent on steam cleaning the interior.

In the event of the third scenario then I'd love to hear that a cement mixer pulled up beside him at a set of lights and accidentally emptied a full load of quickset concrete inside his car through an open window, only to find out that he doesn't have insurance to cover the damage.

No mercy.

no he pushed the cart at 2 other carts that are lined up towards my car... that's after he checked my car out.

Were you able to fix the dent with paintless dent removal?

sorry to see that done to your car BUT at the beginning of the video you can tell he pushed his cart into the other cart too much so it rolled down to hit yours. probably not a purpose.

Something similar happened to my 2003 X5, but instead the person rammed a Walmart shopping cart in my car ON PURPOSE. It's a frickin 11 year old BMW, yet some people are complete dicks or are jealous that they can't afford a BMW. My dents are much deeper than yours, but never got it fixed cause it's 11 year old car and I don't care too much anymore. If something happened to my Maserati or Mercedes, I'd be extremely pissed. I'm glad you're able to catch the people responsible. I usually drive the X5 cause I have no worries of some dick denting an old car. You parked a long way from the shopping center, so no one would dent your car and still someone was stupid enough do something like this. UNBELIEVABLE!

Things like this really piss me off ! I'm sure it was done on purpose. I was just telling my wife that I was just going to get an old POS because I was tired of worrying so much when trying to park. What about the people who have to stop 2 inches from your rear at red lights ! This really gets on my nerves!
