Good price for CPO 2013 535i??
I was considering a new 328d and decided to see what I could get for the same money going CPO. Looking for a commuter car for my 3 hour daily commute.
Let me know what you guys think of this one 535i CPO Lease Return 35k miles (most likely hwy) 1 owner Steptronic MSport Driver Cold Weather Tech Dealer has it listed for 43k. What would be considered a great deal on this car? Anything I should know about 535i in general that I should look out for? Thanks in advance |

About a month ago, I got a CPO 2012 535I xdrive with 22k miles. M sport, comfort access, paddle shifter, etc for 44k. This seems to be similar if not just as good of a deal. Id say try to get another 1k off.

From my research a month back, you can easily get 35-38k on a 535i xdrive with Msport on a non bmw dealer and non CPO. I think for a CPO with under 35k miles, you are looking at between 40-43k depending on the condition. Here is my thought on thatthat 550 you linked. it looks like a good deal but it has 48k miles on it. very soon enough your new car warranty will be out and be on extended warranty. |

1. CPO warranty isn't worth $5k. If you pay $44k for a 2011 535, then you are paying too much. BMW of Fairfax will sell you a nicely optioned CPO 535xi for less than $38k last year. This year, it would be even cheaper.
2. I linked that 550 as reference. Sure, it has more miles but it's a year newer and it is the top model with nearly every options checked. So it is a much better deal than a 2011 535xi for $43k. If you paid too much, don't try to justify things and make other people fall for the same trap. |

Second, I am NOT steering him in any direction unlike you. I have simply gave my experience. If I paid to much, then that is my problem but Im pretty happy with the condition of my car and was willing to pay a bit extra CPO is very subject to the buyer. I personally think that a CPO BMW is well worth the extra. to your point, $5k is overpriced. CPO should only be $3k as that is what the dealer mark up for additional 2yrs and up to 100k Miles. |
