Dinan Tune Issues

I kinda feel bad now saying Dinan sucks so I started a new thread.

I called Dinan and spoke to Dan again regarding the issues that I am having. He looked up my vin# number and said that the last time my car was flashed with the tune was June 2013.....WTF....Prestige BMW had the car for a week and never re-flashed the car???????

I think the subject of this thread needs to be Prestige BMW sucks. I am taking the car to Motor Works West in Wyckoff, NJ, an authorized Dinan Dealer. I spoke to Dave and it seems he knows his business.

Dinan even said that they would pay for Motor Works West to re-install the tune. The more I think about it, Prestige BMW might be the problem with all of these issues that I am having.

I have an appointment Friday at 11:30AM to re-install the tune. He said it will take tops 30minutes so I don't have to leave the car.

I will update once the work has been completed.....

Dinan should punish dealers like prestige for such poor costumer support, your car is a 2nd car with Dinan install from Prestige that i know off.
t should be Dinans responsibility to check every few months how the installation is performed.

Motor Works West is a great! I dealt with Dave before on my previous E90 and have only great things to say about them. Very professional. You won't be disappointed.

That's just very unfortunate, especially with the amount of financial sacrifice you underwent.

Goodluck with the process this time around and hopefully in better hands.

Pretty amazing stuff.......

MotorWorksWest confirmed that the Dinan shockware was not installed at all by Prestige and they reloaded the Dinan Stage 4 tune that Prestige incorrectly installed. The car feels like it should now but Im still having a hesitation problem when the gas pedal is being pressed. Since Prestige didnt do anything to the car for the whole week that they had it, I dropped the car back off at Park Ave to see if they can figure out WTF is wrong with my car. The car has been in the shop for a the past 20-25days which sucks.

Hope everything is sorted out. There's no reason that you should be going through all of this nonsense. I am baffled that Prestige, who is supposed to be a top notch and competent dealer, can't even perform the work on your car correctly.

Park Avenue BMW just called. They said the transfer case was bad. They took the xdrive drive shaft out of the car and the hesitation stopped. They ordered a new transfer case and the car will be ready latest Wednesday. So happy they found the problem.......

Further proof that Prestige BMW SUCKS.....They cant install Dinan correctly nor fix cars correctly....

Furthermore, I got to say that Dinan is a stand up company for taking care of my issues properly. The whole time is was the dealership causing the issues, not Dinan.
