Is it normal for brand new tires to feel rough? Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's
Hi Forum,
I just got brand new tires put on my 535i xDrive (all 4 corners) and noticed that the gas pedal feels somewhat rough now when accelerating. I ended up replacing the stock 19" Goodyear Eagle LS2 run-flats (horrible tire btw) due to some of the tires being out of round. The new tires are the top-rated Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's. So far the tires feel great and the comfort/grip levels have increased significantly too. The feeling isn't anything awful but I feel a rough/coarse feel through the gas pedal (mainly at highway speeds; 40+ mph) now that I have the tires on. Is this just a symptom of brand new tires that haven't broken in yet or could this be suspension or even drive train related? Mind you, this is my first tire purchase as I've always stuck with the stock RFTs since I lease. Thanks for any feedback and/or advice! |

I'm primarily wondering if its normal to have a coarse feel thru the gas pedal (kind of like the tires are running over fine gravel-type feel)? |
