F10 M Sport Package - cloth seats available in US?
Hi Guys, sorry to sound like a noob, haven't been on the forums lately but I'm planning on upgrading to a 5 series and was wondering how or even IF the cloth interior was available in the states when you get the M package. I've seen images of the UK launch and with this interior but when building one on bmw site, there is no option to upgrade to that cloth seat, only the leather upgrade...below is a pic of the interior I'm speaking of, thanks again

that can't be from the UK launch, the steering wheel is on the wrong side and it appears the speedometer is strictly in kilometers. Also I went to the BMW.co.uk site and the only options there are leather as well.
You might find cloth interior in Germany, but certainly not on a US M-sport |

I guess you are looking for a cloth seat "down-grade".
If you select the premium package, which I believe is standard in most 5 series in the US, the leather option is included automatically. Talk to your dealer and they can probably work something out, like a special note to BMW. |

You certainly can select the cloth/alcantara on the UK M-Sport - I've got it!
I certainly wouldn't call it a downgrade either - it looks and feels fantastic. Much better than leather in my opinion... |

The picture is from the "Alcantara" seats, which definitely is not "cloth", but a high-end composite material. It is only available with the sport seats, and if you take the "M-Sport" finish.
There also exist a mixed cloth-leather finish, which is also only available with the sport seats. The cloth is actually better quality (and nicer) than the standard cloth finish, and the leather is the same as the standard leather option. The rest of the interior also is in leather. I prefer this finish over the full leather option. |

No surprise that I like this M-sport interior, having the same kind in my e90 m-sport.
I believe that in UK this and leather costs the same, while in Germany and Norway, leather is an option that costs extra.
