No love for the chrome rails? Looks good on darker cars, I also had a few problems with roof bars on the shadow line rails , even with OEM. Anyone suffer from this, possibly too much clamp pressure but always used the official torque key thing?

Mine is identical exterior, but yours has the power to match the appearance! I am envious.
I like the rails in silver. For me it visually ties in with the wheels. Better than black rails in my opinion but both look good. I am not completely sold on the carbon black colour yet. I hadn't expected it to appear blue in bright light. Am sure I will get used to it. |

Just checked out venture shield, apologies did not realise this was in essance a clear wrap...
I was mistaking it for the Life Shine type products that the dealers try and sell you. What sort of cost to put this on a car, do you do the whole of it?

I had it done here: http://www.bodyguarduk.com/ Speak to either Jared or Richard if you are interested. They're based in Daventry. They cover all Mercedes Benz UK's press vehicles. The paint protection stuff like Supaguard will not protect against stones.

Going back to the whole paint protection/coating thing
I am not too sure how much protection a coating can give on a stone bouncing up onto the car at speed? I know the dealers say it does but that does not make much sense to me. Having said that I know someone who had a paint protection done at half the price that the dealer offered, by a local valeter. Car looks fantastic by the way! |

Agree limited protection against stone chips
And my valeting centre will do the coating from £80 upward depending on the phone product that you choose, that's with aftercare pack. Dealers charge upwards of £300.
