Considering 2011 535i - What to watch out for?
I'm considering an early 2011 535i built in April of 2010. I know this car is now out of warranty and I would like your advice on what I need to be watching for.
The car I'm considering has Sport Pkg and includes Sport Auto Tranny and the Electronic Damper Control (EDC). It also has almost every other option that was available including Premium Pkg II. I really want the stereo that is included in that package. I wish it had the Bluetooth music connection option (Combox) but I do not believe that was available in 2011. I know early cars had several items that were later corrected. Let me know what would cause you to not look at early 2011 cars or what to be concerned with. I know the high pressure fuel pumps were an issue with the 3 series and imagine they were on these cars as well. I have also read about early cars pulling to the side when going down the road. I should be able to test that. Any help is appreciated.

Along with all the items you've already mentioned, there's a recall for replacement of Vanos bolts.
