Looks mean and aggressive. Is that 'your car' in the yard? Is that Singapore Grey? It almost looks like Dark Graphite II from the pics.

Yep. That's my new mistress. Singapore Grey. Ordered beginning of July, in production by mid July and on the ship by end of July. Then took another 2 weeks or so to arrive in T.O.

The color resembles to DGII but I think there is no metallic flakes in them .... probably just a tiny slight variation from DGII.

sitting @ TC right now waiting for pickup.

Those pics were taken by my sales guy yesterday.

Believe it or not, the car only lost about 20% of the MSRP, given it's now a 2-yr old car. When I was window shopping for the M5, I was guessing I would lose about 40% of the MSRP but when I was offered this extremely high trade in value, I just have to do it.

Hey Bobblehead,
Congrats on a fine car I am sure you will enjoy it. Do you mind me asking which dealer you went to? Been contemplating this too but was sure they would kill me with the trade in value.

Here is the list of dealers I visited to get my trade in value:
1) Mercedes Benz - Midtown & Downtown - very fair value given
2) Pfaff Porsche - very fair value given - almost identical to MB figure
3) Endras BMW - pretty low
4) Town & Country BMW - Highest
5) BMW London - but only email quote & ballpark - similar to MB & Pfaff
6) Downtown BMW - Matching T & C trade in figure
7) Serpa BMW - pretty low
8) Georgian BMW - pretty low
10) BMW Autohaus - Lowest

Overall, from the lowest to highest trade in figure given, the spread is $10,000 (unbelievable).

When it's all said & done after more than 1.5 months of researching, I went with TCBMW who was willing to discount the M5 and the highest trade in value granted.

The following BMW dealers refused to discount even '1 penny' off the list:
1) Endras
2) Autohaus
3) Maranello & BMW Mississauga
4) Georgian BMW
5) Budds BMW
6) Serpa - verbally, maybe $500

If you are interested to know what % discount was given by TCBMW on my M5, just PM me.

Lastly, my suggestion is if you want the highest trade in value, you will have to do something similar to what I had done. You may be amazed on the trade in value differ dealer to dealer. I find MB & Porshce are really diligent in researching the wholesale value of my car as MB even called the West Coast to see what my car would fetch out there.

Congrats on your new M5, looks amazing. I am new to this Forum, being Canadian, I have read many of your posts, am going through a decision on whether to switch out of my F10 , have a few questions but will post in appropriate thread dealing with pricing, don't want to take away from this thread and your new car.

Update:

Picked up my M5 yesterday and man oh man ... the exhaust sound is amazing on cold start up and once it warms up (about 20 seconds or so), it sounds so sporty and has the deep tone to it. Comparing to the 550 I had, it's a night & day difference.

I did not drive much yesterday and I spent the entire afternoon & early part of night having it tinted and put on paint protection film on it and it turned out absolutely amazing as I cannot even see the seam.
