Buyout decreases every month as I make a payment. Take a look on autotrader.ca and compare with other similar cars. I don't have to sell it as my lease is up in March 2014. I was about to take over my friends 550ix but not he's hesitant. My issue in getting another 550ix is it would have to have DHP (adaptive drive). I don't think anyone really orders it. Coming from a DHP car and going to non-DHP, its night-and-day difference. For someone who never had it, you wouldn't know the difference.
The remaining 2013's are basically non-existent in Canada. Not sure whats next! I just hate paying for new models with the high lease rates. Another 550ix I wouldn't mind...but the Grand Coupe's are damn sexy too. Also thought about the new x5 5.0 msport. OR...just assume a lease on Leasebusters.

The new X5 would be very nice indeed. But for now, the dealer will probably won't play ball with you (in terms of giving hefty discount), at the same time, the interest rate is ridiculously high.
The GC would be great as well but it's going to be lot more $, unless you go 640 which would be a power downsize indeed but in a sense of a way overpriced 535. Any thought of switching over to Audi & MB ? |

I'm actually thinking of taking over a short time lease until next sept. That way I can pick either a 2014 clear-out of 2014 x5 5.0 msport or 2014 a f10 550. Both new styles and new engines. Would have incentives, lower least rate etc. I'm thinking that could be my best option at the moment...moneywise.
I'm open to try an audi benz for short term ..but I'm loyal to BMW. I guess I shouldn't knock it until i try.
