just had my F10 dinan stage 2 tune, and the results were disappointing !! Heeellpp !!

The driveability is the same as stock. In comfort+ mode cruising around town at low RPMs, you would not think that the car is tuned at all. Smash the throttle and you are pushed deep into the seats as the car accelerates. In sport mode, the car is a rocket.

No issues with this 14.0 psi tune. However, I wish it made even more power. Dinan's 580 #-ft in a 550 is less thrilling than JB3's 425 #-ft in a 335. Perhaps the Dinan tune does not develop peak torque at very low RPMS. The 5-series is much heavier and the cabin is very isolated from the road, which further contributes to a rather dull experience. However, you can be moving at tremendous speeds and don't notice it until you look at your speedometer.

I would recommend Dinan, even with their high price, as there are little if any other alternatives in the US. If you financed and like to get new cars every 3-years, or leased for that matter, then it makes little sense to be waiting for the release of cheaper tune. By the time one is released, you will be that much closer to moving on to a newer vehicle.
