DP CEL Fix??? Name of that mod

Hey guys,

i remember back with my n54 335 there was a little wire mod i bought from somewhere which i cant remember. it basically took away the CEL i got from having catless DP's

i just installed eisennman exhausts on my f10 535xi and its not loud at all so im going to go with a VSRF Catless DP.

I want to know that mod that will remove the CEL so i can order it and have it installed before putting my DP in.

I tried doing some research but no major luck with any bimmerforums verified suppliers.

any help?

I don't remember the wire trick, was it like the golf-tee mod, but instead you just unplug the wire that controls the flap? In any case either the jb4 or have it coded. Mines coded and is in a ready state to pass inspection.

no you buy this little box. its like a mod or something. similar to JB4 but not a TUNE just takes away the CEL.

i would just get a jb4 but i want to stay away from that for a bit and break the motor in :P

It's discontinued.

@MissionPerformance I know you guys can set all the monitors ready when running your stage 2 catless and still pass emissions. Is there anyway to only get that function without buying the entire tune or no ?

so i found the area 74 io2 simulator.

area 74 -- this is verified for n55 engine on bimmerpost

but it ships from canada and takes 7-10 days...

any other fix?
