ICarly finally released coding for F series

It's about god damn time my favorite BMW app from iCarly released this. Says you need their adapter though : / which is about 80 bucks on Amazon. So.....

You can code your mirrors to fold on lock and unlock and a bunch of cool stuff that can be coded. See here:

So far they only have coding for iPhone users. Android coming soon.

Voltage monitoring is cool because you can have LEDs lights that throw errors and flicker and remove the code and stop the flickering.

Yup F series coding has finally arrived through the app. They've had it forever for other BMW series. For the F series their starting out with lights and dashboard coding. Kombi and I forgot the German name of the other one.

Yup F series coding has finally arrived through the app. They've had it forever for other BMW series. For the F series their starting out with lights and dashboard coding. Kombi and I forgot the German name of the other one.

This is cool. The only question now is how extensive their coding is. I hope they have English version too. The videos I've seen are in German.

They are only covering lights and dashboard for the first release. In the E series they cover everything so I'm hoping they will expand soon.

You can do all the coding yourself for free, it is not hard to do at all!

All you need to buy is a $15 cable and download the free software.

This is true, but can be daunting for those they don't want to take a chance of corrupting a file. The app is just nice no-brainer.

Can someone tell me or direct me to where the whole list of things I can code on the F10 is through the Carly for BMW thing? I'm genuinely considering buying this to code my car and maybe some friends.

Ive had pro the version for years so I have been able to do code clearing, parameter reading and battery registration for a while. Ive watched iCarly app go through many iterations. It's come a long way and is worth the money. The coding for F series is new and requires their OBD wifi. Ive been using my elm427 wifi. Thought about purchasing their OBD connector, but I'm probably going to do coding through e-sys.

E-sys is intimidating as where iCarly is easy to use and straight forward. Push button simplicity if you will. I was able to code my e90 using iCarly and that worked like a charm. Highly recommend using iCarly to code if you want easy programming mods.

i'm thinking about it! so eventually will iCarly replace having someone code the car for you? pretty much the reason i'm interested...eliminating having someone to do it for me for $100

Yeah it eventually will. It doesn't code all capabilities, yet. On the e90 it did everything. Battery registration and service resets are a huge deal too.

So the elm427 will work for clearing codes, parameter reading, and battery registration on the f10 with the iCarly app?

Or do you need there OBD wifi for all the features on the F10?

It works for all of those. Recently I've cleared codes and worked. The parameter monitoring still worked. I haven't tried battery registration lately, but it should work since I paid for it before they came out with their adaptor.
