Wheel Repair

Just installed new 351M wheels and tires and with less than 500 miles on them my lovely wife curbed one

Its around 1/4 way around and limited to the very outer edge. It is not gouged deep and appears to be just rough.

Can this be sanded and painted and look decent?

Any recommendations on a wheels repair contact in the Tampa area?

Thx.

Yes, your wheels can be repaired and resurfaced with ease! The spot I've used when I was in Tampa was Reliable Welding on North 30th Street. They can repair anything from minor scrapes to major cracks and bends!

It really depends on how picky you are. Machined wheels are hard to refinish without the whole wheel being refinished. However, painted wheels can be fixed up cheaply and easily. This is part of the reason why I'm struggling with what wheels to buy. I *want* a machined wheel, however my dear bride drives my car occasionally, and reminds me why that's a bad idea with her misdeeds.
