Recs for 20" tires
Looking for good summer rubber for 20" wheels for my 550 - prices are all over the place - $200 a pop for Hankooks to $400 for Michelin's - I obviously don't want to skip on safety, but what would be the best bang for my buck?
Also, any recs for the best prices, online? TiA

Glad you asked this looking forward to seeing recommendations
I'm considering a 20" wheel upgrade and really like the Michelin PS2's and would love to try the new Super Sports. I was dissappointed when searching for 20" Michelins - limited sizes available as far as I can see. Best I could come up is 245.35.20 PS2's for the fronts (26.8" overall) and 285.30.20 rears but only the SS's (also 26.8" overall but not available in the PS2's)

check out the Hankook V12's. I've personally never tried them, but they seem to get good reviews.
Some good online places you can check out are www.tirerack.com and www.onlinetires.com |

The other thing I danced around is will I be paranoid with 20's, no RFTs and no spare - I figured if go on a long distance trip, I'll just figure on a 17' spare...not worrying about that now - just want some decent wheels and out of the Goodyear RFT's...

Hankook V12's are great bang for the buck tires. If you plan on running a Non-RFT setup, I would definitely suggest running a spare in the trunk with a cargo net. Similar to this setup.
