try black on the chrome in door handles, I think it works better. I`ve also seen window tint film applied to make a dark chrome look.

I really like what you did the the kidney grills. It's very subtle.

You going for white rear lights? I have them on mine and personally think they look great on a white car.

Might have to order the tape for the grille, nice touch.
Cheers. Can we see some pics of your car? The rear lights especially.

I tried them darker to different levels on PS and again couldn't find a shade that I liked.

Have you considered adding an M
Performance carbon front splitter? These are out of stock all over the EU right now
But I have one for sale at the RRP £1200 if you or anyone is interested drop me a line

Bought it for mine but never fitted it as the wife drives a lot and I am sure she will scrape it somewhere or another!

Here's some pics (sorry about the quality of the pics, taken from my phone), the bonnet stickers look better in the metal, you don't really notice them 95% of the time... Roof has a carbon wrap and wing mirrors/rear spoiler are painted black. Same side skirts and grille as yours.

I tried them darker to different levels on PS and again couldn't find a shade that I liked.

I was thinking of a black vinyl wrap for the remaining chrome parts

Thanks. I really wish my car was red now after seeing your sig. it looks fantastic
Yeah don't normally like red but this looks good, a guy in the US has done his in a matt red wrap and it looks awesome. Just got mine so maybe in a couple of years time when I'm bored with the white!

Fit the stripes with the grille removed and also remove the slats from inside the main outer grille frame, makes it much easier. I just guessed with the angle if I'm honest. Hardest bit is getting the second and third tapes to run butt up to the one next to it. Just trim them off with a Stanley blade on the back edge top and bottom. They'll withstand a good jet wash, mine have.

I had contemplated the same with the repeaters by sticking the stripes on but was going to then vinyl wrap over the whole lot in this smoke Matt translucent stuff I got from eBay. I've still not made my mind up yet. I'll wait until I've seen yours

Cheers

Looks very nice. But you are right, you definitely need to lower it.

Very nice wheels, but it must call for ultra careful when parking near curbs with those protruding spokes!
I see you have Vredesteins on, what appears to be, 20" rims - how do you find the ride and handling?
Reason I ask is that I'm coming up for new tyres on my F12 (also on 20" wheels) and I want to ditch the run-flats, just can't decide which make to go for.
I'd appreciate your opinion - many thanks,
Jon

Thanks. The spokes are flush thankfully but parking is still fun!

The wheels are 20" and I can only recommend the tyres, they're very good in the wet and all round to be honest for the money. I went from 18" run flats to 19" Vreds on my E90 and there was quite an improvement but nothing like the improvement I've noticed going to non run flats on the F10. It's totally different on the comfort side of things - so much better!

Every sharp dip in the tarmac across the road, unavoidable grates/potholes would cause the car to really 'bang' on the 19" run flats but it feels totally different now on the 20" standard tyres, must feel even better with 19's and non RFT.

I did 16k miles on new Vred Sessantas in my E90, then sold the wheels and tyres before trading in the car, the rears were most worn (as you'd expect) and still had +5mm on them!

I'd go for getting rid of your 20" RFT's and I'll say that your F12 will be miles better without them. Get the Vreds, you'll be happy. I don't drive hard (as can be seen by the 16k in less than 3mm) but I know when I do give it the occasional bit of 'stick' the tyres are more than up to it.

Cheers

Dave

You need an account with something like photobucket (the one I use). The one you need to copy and paste is the IMG code.

Thanks for posting the pictures up. I like the M Performance wheels. Can't say I'm keen on the lights but that's just my opinion, are they a BMW part?

Also, I presume you have the performance spoiler fitted? Is it just black on the underside or is it on the top as well?

Cheers

Yes the lights are a BMW accessory, they are on the accessories section of their website.

Spoiler and mirror caps were painted by BMW, the performance ones are carbon look and I didn't want too much carbon as the roof has a black carbon wrap.
