Black Panel Display- standard?

I am a newbie and am looking for some comparative intelligence to make sure I am not being unreasonable with my dealer.

I ordered and took delivery of my 6speed 535 with premium, sport, nav, bmwapps, and the iPhone/mp3 integration including cradle. I assumed that given the standard equipment matrix and photo description describing the black panel display identified the display as standard that my car would come with it.

It did not and now I am being told it only comes standard on the GT.

Has anyone else gotten this surprise? Is there a specific code that my dealer left off the build sheet when he ordered?

Thanks in advance for the help.

No, it does not come standard on any version of F10. To get extended black panel display (6WA), you must order Head Up Display, only way you can get it in US

Thanks for the info. Nice pics!!

Looks like the marketing collateral 5series sedan pdf and website is misleading. It specifically says it's standard, has it marked in the matrix for all Models, describes it in detail within the PDF and has the picture. Really frustrating.

I have those options on my 550 and have the black display so I would say yes.
