2011 535i Review / upgrading from 328i/318i

We received our 2011 535i in July. We have driven almost 1000 miles so far and we are happy with it.
Positives:
• The car feels big and very luxurious. It is very comfortable too (it can handle broken roads of NYC).
• Interior is a step up and love it so far.
• Engine and transmission are very smooth.
• The acceleration, gas mileage and handling are excellent.
• The sound system is very nice too.
Negatives:
• I got used to the steering but it does feel artificially boosted.
• I was in Europe for vacation and drove 318d touring for 10 days. After driving 318d, the steering of 535i felt like a video steering with no feedback whatsoever.
• No split seat/access to trunk as standard.
Ideally, I would have preferred sports and dynamic package. Overall, I am very happy with it.

Nice car! Agree with you on the rear folding seats... This seems like something that should be standard... but then again, I won't complain too much, as it seems even the steering wheel is an option in the European BMW market
