Thanks everyone ... having called everyone in my area (Northern Jersey), it seems to be a special order option. I was hoping to get a good deal on a 2014, but may just have to go for a 2015.

My question is, without DHP, does changing from Comfort+, Comfort, Sport and Sport+ do anything to the suspension or damping?

The sales person said no.

So then do you need the need the Dynamic Handling Package (with ARS) to get Damper control?

I'll be going from a 2008 535i with Sports Package and Sports Auto, so i'm hoping not to lose too much of the sportiness in the handling. But I like the idea of having something thats better on bumpy roads when you aren't driving like The Stig. Any feedback from those who have made a similar switch would be appreciated. Thanks!
At least your sales rep is honest. In a 704 M 535i, he told me that the suspension gets softer and firmer when you toggle thru Sport / Comfort / ECO. I told him I couldn't feel any difference, and he said "its subtle".

Then I told him I wanted to try a DHP car, but they didnt have any DHPs in stock, so he told me that all DHP does is make the suspension softer.

Oh, I guess you finally got my PM. Did not think it went through. Thanks for checking.
