I have a set of Dinan 550i Mufflers for sale. These are the ones with Black Tips. Please take a look at the pictures. Overall, the Tips could use some TLC and one Tip has a slight dent in it. No Cracks, Rust. Pictures to follow

Local Pick up is welcome for $1000 so I don't have to box and ship them.

Any 550 owners, THESE ARE THE BEST sounding thing you can put on your car! Went through THREE of the highest rated mufflers on the forums and THESE are the ONLY ones that give the grumble when you get on the gas, but don't drone your car out at highway speeds! BMW even has the cut marks on the OEM pipes to install THESE cat back type mufflers. The also incorporate the Vacuum module so two of your pipes shut down when not in WOT mode. GREAT PRICE! Get em while you can! About a 2 hour install.

I was just noticing that the piping had been cut on these. How were they installed originally? The Dinan mufflers start with longer piping. See the original here compared with yours and the instructions showing where to cut on the mark meant for these mufflers. The Dinan kit also has two support clamps which are connected by a cross brace to replace the brace you would normally cut away, but those wouldn't be necessary if now the OEM exhaust is cut a lot shorter to fit these mufflers as they are.

The pipes were indeed cut nearer to the mufflers on these primarily for easier shipment. I got these used. Any exhaust shop is easily able to install these as the hangers are all intact.
