FLAC file format

Does the sound system playback FLAC files?
just saves me having to convert some tunes to mp3.

Agreed, Will Smith(legend) - WILL SMITH GREATEST HITS - ALBUM all in FLAC format plays like a gem...getting jiggy with it!

interesting. is that up to 44KHz, 16bit (ie CD quality) or better than that? (not that it will make any difference in a car environment - just curious)
