Just Picked up 2012 BMW 535xi M Sport

Guys,
After months of debating various cars, I finally decided and bought a 2012 535xi M sport, CWP, Ppkg, premium sound , heads up display, Sport trans and Nav

Clarkson is right when he said how the heck Bmw can make a big car handle so wheel and drive this nice

I was used to Bmw 3 series, c class, g37 and e60 528/535

I also checked out Audi s4 , although it feels nimbler , on a day to day basis the 5 is more satisfying to drive with excellent seats, great seat heaters, hud, ride quality and can stlll corner very well. The 8 speed auto is super responsive.

I am very happy with the new 5, imo it is the best 5 i ever drove with out going over the top like M5 , E63 etc

Awesome car!!! F10 are awesome to drive and i feel a great difference between comfort setup and sport set up. Ideal car!!!

Congrats on your new F10.
I came very, very close to buying an S4 as well after several test drives.
Then, chose a Titanium Silver F10 M Sport last month. No regrets at all.
I think back at the S4 as being fun to drive when on the throttle or at the limits in a turn. But, in reality, I don't drive that way 90% of the time and just need some comfort and class most of the time. And, when I long for that "rush" I just goose the accelerator and the F10 does not disappoint (550i in Sport + mode).

Love that those blacked out gills on your car. And if you haven't yet, don't put on the front license plate holder (like they do in Califorina) and ugly up that front facia.

Thanks guys for all the compliments, I liked the M sport in silver and black grill when i saw it at a dealership in Central nj , so bought it . I am not planning any mods, and sadly in NJ you have to put on the front plate

yes The Audi s4 is more fun prolly a the limt etc but it is like a 3 series interior and 5 is my daily driver that can handle very well and still provide greater comfort. the 5 is rear biased even with X drive and Sport to comfort is a nice perctible change in tightness of sterring and suspension

I love the heated sterring wheel early in the AM and not sure why but seat heaters work much better( stronger heat) in BMw, Merc and porsche than most japanese cars

The 8 speed upshifts are nice and i use paddles in Manual mode to downshift befoe a bend etc. I did not care for Hud but since the car had it , i now like it a lot

The 2012 Nav meets my needs and has been accurate so no complans from my side. I like the fact that i can input dest with the wheel which is a nice touch and when in motion, lol . Send google maps to Bmw is also very convenient. BT reception seems better than my previous car

I also like the clarity from the premium aduio system over base audio and over my bose in my g37

I used to have the old 5-e60 , std suspension and I did not like that , felt too floaty . I then had a g37X which was good but not as nice as german cars

The g37 was my first luxury japanese car and i am not going back to japanese , lol. The german cars especially Bmw are very satisfying to drivewith a luxurious ride when needed.

I also drove the new 3 but it did not feel very luxurious . I used to have a Boxster S and a Cayman S before, i might be adding a 911 base cab next year for weekends ,evenings etc
