Can't add 223 Dynamic Damper Control on 2013 order??
Has anyone successfully added the 223 Dynamic Damper Control on their 2013 F10 order (US)?
My dealer's system wouldn't allow them to add the DDC as a stand alone option even though the ordering guide shows it is available for $1K. Once they add it it automatically adds in the full Dynamic Handling Package which cost $3500. They sent an email to BMWNA and they said they also couldn't add it either and they have no idea why but they put in the request to add it to my build. Not sure what that even means at this point. Just wondering if its a glitch in the bmw system or if Bmw is still playing around with how they want to offer the options/packages in the 2013 cars. Alan

You can add it, it is part of the ordering guide, most likely its a technical glitch in the system.

DHP v. DDC (223)
So, was your car built correctly. As I understand it, with DDC, you get the adjustable suspension. With the DHP, you also get the adaptive drive and the active roll stabilzation.
Any thoughts on the benefits v. costs of these options? Thanks, Bill |
