Hey guys, got a oem spoiler for my F10 but I have bodyshops in my area telling me that there is two kinds of imperial blue metallic.

Anyone have any insights on this?

Is it 307a blue or 307 blue

You'll have to check the paint code on the VIN label. There are also 2 codes for Dark Graphite; A90 & B90.

I checked and it only says A89 but both of these colors at the shop are labeled A89..

Production date a factor?

It might sound too obvious, but can't you hold the swans up against your car, you will then know which is the right colour to order.

Not that u see listed anywhere or from my dealer.

That is the issue, it can be both depending on the light lol
I thought maybe someone had the answer, i will be going to a shop with a color matcher system, and will be getting the oem bmw touch up paint to compare and will return here with the answer for future reference for others..

By the way this is from PPG's catalog of colors
