so i’ve been thinking about opening the air filter box so i can hear the turbo better. however i understand that this can cause a small loss in performance as well as warm air being pushed through the filter. i’ve heard this air temp when entering shouldn’t matter because it will be reheated anyway though. i understand that this isn’t something that it good for the engine but i also understand it’s not horrible for it. being that i live in PA and my engine not being N/A can also cause problems because of pressure i have heard. i’m basically looking for someone to tell me if doing this will cause problems down the line, keep in mind this is my daily car. any help is appreciated, thank you
