Daytime running light problem

Hi got a 2011 535i. I can't turn the daytime running light on from idrive. How to fix this? I know the lights still works because when I turn on parking lights, the angel eyes turns on.

When you say you “can’t turn the DRLs on from iDrive”…are you saying the selection is there but you just cant select it…or that the selection is not even listed in iDrive?

Only asking because perhaps that feature is turned off in your market and perhaps it can be coded on using an app like Bimmercode. When I go to their website and pull up the supported coding for the f10/f11…it lists coding parameters for DRL selection in iDrive (coding for the CIC-HU) as well as coding for the FRM module to activate DRLs.

See the supported coding at this link…scroll down to Daytime Running Light heading and clic on it to see what can be coded for that feature: https://bimmercode.app/cars/f10/

EDIT: See coding selections for DRLs from the Bimmercode.app website:
