I think it'll be just fine personally. I think most of the more exciting design elements are still covered up.

I'm tired of looking at avant garde looking 5-series

This new 5-series is going to be a Hot Car!! and Now since the Body structure will no longer employ all aluminum front end ahead of the A-pillar and Firewall it will be cheaper to build......I believe it will be very competative in Price with the New E-Class which is less expensive now. I hope BMW gets the hint and lowers the price of the 2011 F10 5-series

I dunno... a lot of manufactures have rolled out new models lately with lower prices than the ones they're replacing. I dunno myself but BimmerGuyFL said that the new E class is cheaper now and it doesn't surprise me at all.

But it wouldn't surprise me if BMW did increase their prices... they increased (a lot) for the new Z4 and also increased with the new 7 series. So i think it could go either way.

+1
This reminded me when E46 was in the FEP stage, when the profile looks this good in camouflage, we can imagine how it would look upon release. This profile also looked a bit of mix with E39. After all, BMW really listened to the customers, streamline the profile, refine the interior hump dash, better proportion of kidney grills, and more ...

The side profile does look like an E46 330i sedan. I love it already! Peel off the camo already BMW..

According to scott27, that would be the 535i.
The models above that are going to get the squared off exhausts (F01), while the lower models will just get the two pipes off to the side.

The car's that have been spied are 530d's. When the 5er is launched , the smaller engined cars will have exhausts on one side but 535i upwards will receive Twin exhausts on both sides of the car with larger petrol models receiving the same squared off ports like the 7er and of course the 5er Gran Turismo.
