Nice! I heard the m6 mufflers sound really nice on the 535 but not on the 550

Car looks amazing! Someone is trying to sell me m5 mufflers and diffuser for 650$. They came off a 2012 m5 would the year make a difference? I have a 2016 550i. From what i can see the newer model m5s sound the same as the 2012 one or am i wrong? And also is that a good price for the mufflers and diffuser? The mufflers r in very good condition from the pictures hes sent me

Black tips = Competition package exhaust
Chrome tips = Stock M5 exhaust

Unless they were powder coated or painted.

Go with black tips. It looks even more aggressive.

Non M-Sport car, so installed a M5/M-Sport aftermarket bumper
with a 3D style CF diffuser to accomodate the M5 mufflers.
Car sounds amazing, just perfect for me since I didn't want anything too loud or obnoxious.
The bumper fitment is great, pretty much 100%.
The diffuser was fairly easy to fit as well, I'd give it a 95% fitment as well.
Down the road I'll probably get 90mm tips (anyone have a good source beside cyba?), but for now I enjoy the factory size.
Here are some pictures, and I'll try to attach a sound clip too.

Do you experience a humming sound inside the car around 1k rpms in eco or comfort mode? Its not a drone but more like when you drive a manual car and you are 2 shift lower then what you need to be. Do you experience that?

Keep in mind that I'm also running BMS Stage 1,
so that might make a difference.
How is the throttle response? did you gain any power?

Hey, I’m looking to do the same m5 mufflers on my 2014 lci 550i. How does it work with valvetronic mufflers. I’m correct in thinking the m5 mufflers have valves right ?

How do they plug in or work and connect to the car ?

They work just the same as the 550i valves, plug and play.
