so i recently had car updated to latest software to fix the DAB issue.....i mentioned in another thread that in the "split screen display" options menu I now see this option for "3d exits" i am almost 100% sure it was not there before.

anyway when using navigation i tend to have the screen in "full/wide screen" mode so maybe i've just not seen this before but i took some pics to show what i think the exits looked like before and what they still look like as you get within 2 miles or less of the exit and then in the last pic below when you are within 1/4 mile of the exit this new graphic appears which i am sure is new...or new to me anyway

I'm going on the motorway tomorrow I'll see what my F10 does as I have not got the 3D Exit option on my menus, Looking at your screen shots the 2nd photo is what my previous X5 used to display on screen, the 3rd photo def looks new to me ?

yes i think the 3rd photo (right hand side of the screen split) is new as well. you still get the exits shown as in 2nd photo but as i said you now get this new view as you approach an exit...i'm +ve it didn't do this before the s/w update. not that i'm complaining...like it!

iM must be going mad anyway, clear as day i have actually got 3D exits in my options / under split screen.. DOH

On split screen always been like this. No change.
