Actually, what does first car mean? First car that you drove? First car that you owned? First car that you actively used? First car that you crashed? First car that you had "intimate activities" in?

It didnīt pass inspection and there were some problems but I was going to fix it. But my dad had other plans..... Then I had a Ford Fiesta 1,25L 2000 model. Actually a great car, easy to park and quite fun to drive in the city. not so fun on the highway though. Later on, Porsche Boxster S 2002, E92 325i 2006, Saab 9-3 Aero 2006 stationwagon (250bhp on the front wheels!!) and now F11 523i. // Anders |

Bought - 2002 and sold - 2004... was neglected when I became the owner. Spent a quite sume of money on fixing to its original condition... Loved it and has never let me down... and the car still in town

1987 Mazda 626, manual, 2.0l engine. Slipping clutch due to its age (150k miles) - oh what a pain! I could never floor it until my friend has replaced it for me. Then, flooring turned out not to have that much effect anyway
Perfect enough for my first car, though, at 18.

Car I drove while I waited for my first car to be delivered; 1963 Plymouth Valiant 2 dr., with push button transmission, baby blue. Then my first car arrived, 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, Olive Green, lime green bumble bee stripe. 383 cu in, 440 heads and a 440 cam. Black interior, 3sp manual on the floor with a 8 track stereo LOL. That car hauled ass . I was 16 and in high school. I could really make the tires smoke. Had to sell it when I was 18, after getting a street racing ticket, my dad was not amused. Bought a 1972 black chevy impala 2 dr., went from a racer to a cruiser. My first BMW-320i, 1977.

I wish, it was more like this one
Although mine was a very tasteful poo brown colour, with more rust than steel. Interior was nice although it had no Black Panel and no i-drive. |

yeah that was me that said the F10 is my first car that I own...I did have a rental Nissan Rogue for 3 months in the US at one point
I agree with the OP - the standard has been set very high now for me. Whenever am driving a rental car in any other country, I am dying to get back behind the wheels of mine! I'm now thinking of changing to a petrol model...the amount of driving I do isnt enough to get me the efficiency that diesels give...and definitely not the pleasure that a petrol gives. |
