Yes, there is. Port of Baltimore has several car processing facilities, including for Mini, BMW, Volvo, MB, and other brands. Your car will probably unload at Dundalk or Locust Point.
Mine is due in to Baltimore as well, once it ships. Happy about this, since I'm only 45 minutes away. In fact, it sounds silly, but I actually watched the vessels dock and unload my last 2 cars (Volvos). I have a former colleague who now does security at the port, and he got us up close and personal.

hmm; good to know; just found out BMW is using MB facilities as a vpc for BMW's; what ship is your car on? mine is on independence 2; scheduled to arrive on 1/30
dealer told me I should have the car by 2/10 |

My car (to the best of my knowledge) has not left Germany yet. I'm unaware what vessel it is on or scheduled to be on. BMW uses a bunch of different companies, so it's difficult to pinpoint.
