Check Engine Light

Couple of days ago I had a check engine light pop up. I had about 60 miles left of fuel according to the range indicator. Also happened when I went through a long left hand turn that I was accelerating pretty hard through. Figured fuel delivery was the issue. Filled up the car and reset the check engine light with my P3 Cars Vent Gauge. Check engine light went away. Well today on the way home it came back on again. This time it was just normal driving and the tank is still full from the fill up the other day.

My question is, how can I read the codes. I tried to use JB4 to read it, but it says that there is no codes. I briefly looked using esys but did not see a way to read codes. I have a cheapie obd2 code reader but it isn't able to read the codes on this car. Just says to refer to the owners manual.

Mods: JB4, ER Charge Pipe, BMS Intake, Remus Axle-back

Google ISTA/D. I know there is a discussion thread for it on bimmerfest. Esys is just for coding.
