My F10 with Alpina mods, H&R OE Sport, Quad Exhaust and more
So I got around to lowering my early non sport F10 528i N52 with H&R OE Sports (not sport) and color matched reflectors as well as tint, chrome bulbs and quad exhaust.
Suspension I went with H&R OE Sport (not sport) because I wanted a subtle 1" drop and a nice ride. When I installed them the car lowered the same day in the rear but the front actually went up which made me unhappy. I waited over a week and it never came back down to the original height so I called H&R and the vendor that I bought them from. In a nutshell they were unhelpful and said that my car looked great and it was lowered but in fact it was sitting 1/2" higher in the front. So I told them to go you know where and I just ended up cutting 1/2 a coil up front the result is exactly what I wanted and the ride is the same. They are a smooth spring but since I have a non sport I can't stiffen my dampers so it leaves me wanting more but I can say that they have improved the wallow but not by much. I've always gone with coilovers and now I know why. After cutting the 1/2 coil in front the approximate lowering is 1" all around from stock non sport height. I have a 1 finger gap in the rear and 2 finger gap in front. Exhaust I went quad and used a Y pipe from the resonator back to 2 mufflers. My exhaust tips are something I haven't seen anyone do which is a staggered slashed angle cut to follow the shape of the bumper instead of the usual staggered tips that are slashed cut down but are square to the bumper shape. I got what I wanted and I think the end results is pretty nice and it's different than what I've seen on any forum or pics of any cars on the net. In order to accommodate the muffler on the passenger side I had to reduce the size of the little side storage compartment in the trunk. I also have 21" Alpina's with 245/35/21 & 285/30/21 tires, Rear aftermarket trunk spoiler and Alpina front spoiler. The rest were easy mods: color matched reflectors chrome turn signal bulbs tint Now I'm thinking about gloss black window trim. Enjoy the iPone pics  |

Looks lovely, very classy look
I normally would say dechrome but it looks nice on your car and ties in with the wheels/exhaust/etc |

Looks great. Especially the exhaust tips on the 528i. Makes my 535i tips look deformed.
