Crap! Need some help.

So I just bought my 550i and have a set of Rotiform 20's that I purchased and had on my F30 335i, I kept the wheel and tire package when I sold the car and they are only like 3 months old.

Last night I put the wheels on the 550i and it looks hilarious

Clearly there is 2 problems. ...

1. I need a drop because this thing looks like a 4x4.

2. My tires are too small for this car.

Here's the specs on the package,

Sizing
Front
20x9 et35
245/30/20

Rear
20x10 et35
275 /30/ 20

So what size tires do I need to make this look right? Will I have any issues with my offsets when I drop the car?

I am looking at either Dinan or H&R springs.

Your offsets are fine. You could even throw a 10-15mm spacer up front once you're lowered. As far as tire sizes your rears will work but you'll need a 245/35/20 up front. Other than that I think they'll look really good when you get it all situated!

Ok, thanks!

Do you think i should bump the profile up on the rear as well for a better match?

As mentioned above 245/35/20 is great for the front. The rear can stay the same or go to a 285/30/20

If i was you, I would drop it first and then see what they look like. You maybe surprised and only need a spacer up front and get away w the size of the front tires...

Yeah, I am going to drop but at least the front tires need replacing. The profile is too small and I don't want to damage the wheels especially with as heavy as the car is. I will probably leave the rear providing I can find the matching fronts.

Interestingly after a day or so of driving the suspension must have settled down after being on the jacks and it doesn't look nearly as obnoxious.

I still definitely need a drop. ....but much more tolerable in the meantime.

Ok so need some additional tire feedback now......instead of just replacing the 2 front tires I am considering replacing all 4 to the recommended sizing . Nothing is wrong with my rears just thinking about getting 4 new tires in a matching set and then selling my Hankook set that I am currently running.

So brand wise I am currently in the Hankook Evo V12 - Great tire really no complaints!

But I found I can get a stellar deal on a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports.
F - 245/35/20
R -285/35/30

Any experience on the Bridgestones? How will they compare to the Hankook Evo V12?

Never mind, I went ahead and ordered the Hankook again.
