Decided to order another F10
After 2 years, 9 months and 81k miles driving my current F10 520d M sport it's time to order a new car ready for 1st March 2014 delivery. With a £46,000 budget, I've looked at everything with four doors and four seats, but finally narrowed it down to a F31 335d M sport x drive or a fully loaded F10 520d M sport. As it's a company car, the tax on the 520d is more appealing than the F31, so thats what I've order today.....spec is....
F10 520d M sport Space Grey Black Dakota leather Brushed aluminium trim Black kidney grilles Sports auto Pro multimedia Nav TV function HUD Adaptive LED lights Multi function instrument display Speed limit display Park assist Reversing camera Surround view Folding heated mirrors 12v sockets Full electric memory seats Heated rear seats Split folder rear seats M rear spoiler Sun protection glass I will get the roof wrapped gloss black when it arrives and will swap my 356 wheels over from my current car to finish it off..... Roll on March.... |

That's a very nicely spec'd 520d.
But no sport auto on the LCI 520d like on the pre-LCI.

I had a brand new F11 520d loaner for a few days and it impressed me since it was clearly smoother than my F10. On the high roads, it just missed a bit of poke above 80mph. The 335d would have more than compensated that, but can a F30 drive this composed? I was wondering driving the F11 520d... does anybody on this world can really demand more from a car? The LCI has matured to near perfection, your new 520d will be epic,no doubt!
