Of course but 1) sometime you'd miss the announcement and 2) when the music kicks back in after the nav announcement, the music is too loud. Interesting that there are default volume settings for other things but not for the nav announcement.

It is really annoying. Hard to catch the volume at the right time.........plus it resets back to the low volume when you restart the vehicle. They should really have a way to pre-set the NAV volume.

The volume for the "nav lady" and for music are set seperately. If you adjust the volume while music is playing it won't affect the nav lady's volume.Adjusting the volume *while she's speaking* is the only thing that will do that.

That's not my experience. The volume could be keyfob-specific like many other settings but,if that's the case, that would be it.

If you go into menu and then settings for the Nav option it will allow you to set the default volume for the warnings as well as speed wrnings and volume for your parking sensors and your nav "Lady" volume. LEt me know if you got it.. Good luck..

Not sure if I follow. In my Settings menu, there is no option to set NAV volume.
I see things like speed, tone, control display, profiles, etc. but no NAV or volume settings. |

OK. I will review how I set mine. I know it was low when I picked up the car and me and one of my technically advanced buddies playeda around with a couple of things and got the volume up. I will check with him and make sure of what we did before I reply. Sorry this didnt work...

I recall an earlier post about this. While the lady is talking, turn up the volume knob.
I could be wrong - I don't have my vehicle for another 6 weeks yet - but I recall this instruction from someone and made a mental note that it is the same way to do it as in my Audi. |
