Any help to keeping mats clean?

Just bought a set of OEM Beige mats. Will scotch guard help keep them nicer longer?

Yes. I've had beige carpet and mats with both this F10 and my previous E39 and I've found that the only real way to keep them looking good is to do regular cleaning. Still, Scotch Guard will help prevent stains and dirt from getting into the carpet fibres in between cleanings.

Always buy black floor mats. Beige carpet will never stay clean. Vacuum at least once a week. If you see them start to get nasty, liberally spray foam carpet cleaner and rub down with a lint-free towel, then use a carpet brush to fluff.
