22" wheels? On 535xi?

Hey guys! Currently running 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rears right now with my f10! Want to do 22x9 and 22x10.5....will I be able to run the same tire diameter?

If you have 35 and 30 profile 20" tires, the 22" will have a larger diameter. You can't get smaller than 30 and 25 profile.

22's! BALLER! I'm on 21's and the sidewalls are pretty thin as it is. i'm sure 22's is really gonna make that sidewall very very thin. good luck with whatever you decide...just posting my pictures to give you some reference with 21's

25 rear profile on a 295's

30 front profile on 255's

As mentioned above, aspect ratios will have to be 30 fr/25 rr. If you run 245/30/22 and 275/25/22, you'd be at ~27.7" (which is F01,F07 territory) so expect your speedo to be off about 3mph. Tires will run you more $$$ than 20's. IMO, the negatives far outweigh the positives with 22's on a F10. Now if you drive a 7 series, that's the only way to go.

22's on a 7 series look nice! but i would also have a bigger side profile.

21s are the biggest that look right on an F10. Anything bigger and the car looks like a 4x4 and cannot be lowered without rubbing. Just don't do it, when it comes to modding I am usually "to each his own", but with too large wheels or adding chrome - sorry, it makes me puke. Dont make a BMW a Cadillac, please

Yes, you can't really get thinner tires, so 22" will have 1" lager diameter.
I think 21" is max in the f10.

problem is that you can't really lower it, and that thing looks like a 4x4. which is great, if you want a jeep, but then it might be easier to just get a jeep
