new 520d f10
Thought I would pop over here to say Hi as there is not much activity on the UK/F10 site.
I recently had my e90 335i stolen from outside my front door, no smashed glass, no alarm nothing – taken without a trace. However, every cloud………… I have now reserved a 2012 520d M, imperial Blue with Oyster/Black interior. Had a test drive of it on Sunday gone and obviously there was a step down in power from what I have come from but not as much as I thought there would be. The reason for the 520d was not really budget driven tbh (purchase price) it was more the economical running costs. Fuel over here is crippling at the mo. Never considered 5’ers to be look’ers but my god, on 19’ rims this thing is simply stunning and the interior was just lush. The spec was what I was after, prov nav, bus sound, 19’s, and a few other bits and bobs. Should be in it before long, I’ll get some images up once I have it. |

Shame about your 335i, very nice and very rare car over here!! Must've been 'ye old OBD trick.
Quite a step down in power and performance but if you've driven it and you're happy with it, then fantastic - enjoy!! As you say, the interior is lovely and the toys that can be specced on the F-Series cars are fantastic. And agreed, with some cash spent on the exterior, the 5er looks brilliant. Again, a rarity in the grand scheme of things in the UK as most opt for the 520d EfficientDynamics or keep SE spec and standard wheels on their 520d/525d and even 530d. Looking forward to seeing the pictures!

Congrats!
I also have Imperial Blue with oyster/black interior. You are going to love it. And all the people who told you it's hard to maintain that interior will be proven wrong |
