The 550i tested was not fitted with the dynamic package nor adaptive drive.

I'm a die hard Bimmer Fan,....

BUT

the V10 S6 as 3rd?

In this category of cars I don't think top handling and super perfect transmission work is the priority....
I had an F10 for a while as well and it simply is not the kind of car you drive fast and crazy with...
of course Autobahn runs up to top speed are always fun and everyone will do that here and there, but most of the time it's relaxed driving in an sporty and luxury athmosphere

def. No1 for the F10 ,2nd place for the S6 and then MB and Jaguar

The S6 0-60 makes no sense. It weighs less the the 550 and has more power, but its 1 second slower? Quattro?

Even though the 5 weighs slightly more, the 600Nm of torque helped it smoke the comp.

I guess that makes up for the Car and Driver ranking the new 535 3rd of 3 vs the new Infiniti and the old Audi A6.

Oh I saw the photos of this car and oh dear... what a hideous car. It looks like it was shaped on a potato.

Yeah, what's up with THAT? The A6 is tired these days & needs a refresh.

To add speed, add lightness, said Colin Chapman. That was then - now they just add options, and the heaviest car wins.

Good read. The cost of a car nowadays seems to be directly proportional to its weight, and Lotus knows it.

Incorrect. The 550i they tested did have the Dynamic Package and adaptive drive. The interior pictures shows it does.
