Best overall exhaust mods for 535i??

I have a 2013 F10 535i xDrive. I want to make the car sound more aggressive, but not over the top. It's also important that fuel economy is not affected too much. I'd also prefer if I didn't have to buy a whole exhaust system, just cut something out or buy an individual piece (i.e. downpipes...)

So you want an aggressive system but not a whole system? your best bet is to watch all the YouTube clips for a 535 and decide from there. What might sound aggressive to some might not sound aggressive to you. Do some searching as this topic has been covered a 1000x

Sounds like a muffler delete might be the choice for you.
Here's a clip, it is cheap and it doesn't affect your fuel economy.

Thanks for the reply guys!! I was planning to do a muffler delete, but I wasn't sure how the fuel economy would be. I really didn't want to buy an exhaust, so I think an muffler delete will be good for me. Thanks again

Also, if you do a muffler delete, don't be disappointed by the drone for the first few months. You just have to wait for the sounds to settle down and it will be all good. I was pretty annoyed at first but I love the sounds so it didn't bother me and now its been over 5 months the drone is almost not present, just a tiny bit at lower gear.

there's a bunch on ebay if you look. do you have the MSPORT rear bumper already or the Non M? you'll need to get a diffuser to accomodate the quad tips. or you'll have to modify your non m bumper

I have the m sport bumper. Would I need to cut the bumper to fit quads? I also think that a pair of 4inch exhaust tips would look good too. Just dual not quad

you should be fine with 4" dual tips. try measuring just to be safe. ebay has all kinds of 4" tips but you have to decide on the finish...carbon fiber, black, burnt, chrome or polished?
