seriously? All ceramic tint will perform in this manner. You're paying about 2x the amount.

After a lot of research, I went with the Huper myself. Just got the 40% Ceramic installed last weekend. Great stuff! It's some of the best film out there.

after seeing a real life demonstration at this tint shop that only deals with high end cars... it actually performs really good for the price

Huper Optik is FANTASTIC! There is a HUGE difference between the heat I feel from the front windshield with no tint and the driver's side window with 40% Huper Optik. It also has a very nice, high end color to it. Doesn't look cheap at all compared to some of the other tints. Also, 40% is noticeably dark w/o being so ridiculously dark that you can't see stuff at night.

I've tried dyed tint, metallic tint and ceramic Huper Optik. Huper was the best by far. You can go lighter on color while still having great heat rejection.

Just516in, where did you get quoted 430? Is that the norm for this tint? Did you notice a drastic difference? I'm thinking of getting this stuff when I get my 5 delivered.

yeah nomoral will be around 400 to 450... and yess i can feel a big difference! the thing about this tint is that it will keep the heat out without having to go really dark! my tint on my truck is 20% all around and on the 5 its only 35% and keep the heat out better.

here in houston the weather was 99 degrees outside and im able to keep the ac on the lowest fan setting set at 79 degrees without having to turn it up!

check out my other post for pics

I did my home in Huper 30. Good stuff.

HUD will not work with a polarized tint or even polarized sunglasses.
