Can I still order old shape 5 series?

As above really. Just wondering???
Like the 5 but don't want to splash out on the new shape as deals probably won't be around for a while.
Thanks

No, f10 ended production in October last year.

Coast2coast is already quoting about 15% off list on the G30

Thanks for this. That discount sounds pretty good already doesn't it?. Is the new model a good replacement for the old does anyone know? Looking for one with a bit of poke. Don't mind petrol either. Not sure whether to get a used, fully loaded old shape or whether to investigate the new model? Any thoughts guys?
Cheers, D

There's a thread on F30 forums regarding these, and someone is saying one broker is offering 20% off list on the new 5

I've sat in the new G30, and have to say I'm not that hugely taken with the layout. The screen on the F10 - especially with pro nav - just worked really well. The new G30 felt a bit of a backward step.

Thanks mate. I'll try to find it on there. Shame it looks like a step back. That's a good reason to get the old shape I guess

I spoke to my dealer at the start of Feb about ordering an F11 and he said factory ceases production at end of February. There were a few spec-amendable factory orders available at that time, but he couldn't match the deal I was hoping for.
There are a few new F11's in the system if you're happy to take a near-perfect spec.
I was quoted 27% discount but was pushing for 30+% and they couldn't do it.

A good number of delivery mileage pre-reg F10s at BMW dealers at substantial discounts on new - some more than 35%...if the spec fits of course.

Hi

I was considering the g30 as well but I think the following points can influence your decision:-

How long you will keep the vehicle

Buying or leasing

Mileage you drive

As will other point but knowing these core points will help you decide.

Because both f10 and g30 have there different selling points and the f10 is still a very well rounded car and in my mind still feels and refreshed and hasn't even began to start to date.

Let me know your thoughts and will try to help you decide

Do a search on Autotrader and put a max of 500 miles into the search criteria, it will give you loads of options, not the 216 it says as they have the 'new car' ads now, but I was amazed at how many there are, from £25k to £43k.

I got a 30% discount in December from Lloyds South Lakes on a stock unregistered car, they delivered the car free.

Normally 2 years but you never know what might happen

Buying or leasing
Currently leasing and would prefer lease or PCP again. I don't have that kind of cash laying around for a vehicle. I have a new house to fund!

Mileage you drive
12k-15k

Hi bmwski

I think and it's just my personal opinion, a
New g30 on lease is perfect for you.

With it being new if there are any gremlins as it's on lease you can hand it back or reject it totally.

You can get a high mileage pack and a pence per mile so that covers your annual use. After two years can update to a better deal or spec.

F10 as used would not give you the lease deal on new g30 or any new car so that's a positive and this way your driving the new 5 series.

Definitely go for it!
Let me know how you get on!

Just going through this myself, new G30 does not inspire me enough to pay the extra 15k over a loaded pre reg F10, the ride is no different, yes it has a touch screen, but as someone above has already said, the Pro Nav on the F10 is excellent and more intuitive.

Also having had an E60 520d and an F10 520d, I want a 535d this time around and there are no G30 535d currently being made, so that makes the decision easier for me.
