Yes Dinan is the way to go! 3500 bucks for 100 hp (if that) look thru the forum man.

Don't believe the HP posted on the tune company websites, take some time and read all the threads created by members and you'll find your answer. A couple of members have change from one tune to the other (don't want to mention the tune brands to not sound biased) and have posted their experiences with both tunes and their dyno results.

LOL, and I love that beast you call your car. 467 rwhp is impressive, I'm following you and badblack550xi progress. Good Luck breaking the 500 rwhp barrier, you're almost there.

Thanks ! been rough, I rather just buy proven completed products but when there isn't any and you want them bad enough, you sacrifice !

For anyone living in Miami I would recommend Velos tune for the 550, one of the best lesser known tunes.

Did anyone notice that the engine was also loosing power and TQ after 5K RPMs? Another proof that is not the tunes but the car's DME that regulates the power.

Correct. Just need more dynos from people and we may have a solution!

Advertising (Dinan) vs real world results (BMS). I have Dinan, and would put money that it's not 100hp. It's sunk at this point for me, but if I was buying again, it would be BMS.
...and I'm keeping an eye on BMS S2; might pull Dinan in favor of that. Good luck.

You guys will have N63 Dynos on BMS S2 from me and the d1ck above in the next 2 weeks. I am going to run it on 93 the first go round, then 100 octane on the race setup the next time I go. I'm more interested in the BAU daily gains on 93 than the max power dyno glory runs which is like a bigger dick contest. I'll let BadBlack struggle to win that one. Both are N63 XI, but he has catted hi-flow DP's and a more free flowing, unresonated 3" exhaust. |
