Picking Up My 550i Tomorrow

Hello,

My car will arrive at the dealer later this afternoon and they will complete the prep and tint the windows before I pickup the car tomorrow afternoon.

Outside of signing the papers when I may decide to pickup the tire insurance I am sure they will offer me is there anything specific I should check on the car outside of the obvious things like exterior/interior damage, etc?

They are going to give me a walk through of the car features, etc. but thought I'd ask if there is something I should be looking out for outside of the excitement of actually driving it

I'd just say check the paintwork.
Otherwise enjoy the moment, there's nothing picking up a new car!
Bring a camera along as we all appreciate pics here.

If you are not too tech savy, the linking up of your phone by the dealer would be nice.

Get there early and stop off at the parts and accessories department. You know there is something you want from there. Even if its just a t-shirt or key chain. I picked up two iPad holders, cuz I opted for iPads instead of the rear DVD system.

Make sure the idrive software is up to date, and all features are working.

Make sure they show you the Internet connection working; make sure you get all the warranty paperwork for your tinting etc.

Regarding the tire insurance, double check if the tire needs to be leaking air in order for them to replace a rim or bubbled sidewall. I am having big issues w my dealer over this right now....as I have three bent rims and a bubble. Gotta love the NY roads after the winter!

If roads in Phoenix proper are good, consider no tire insurance. It will buy you the next set of tires.

How do I check to make sure the internet connection is working?

all good recommendations.

1. full tank of gas
2. dont look for the spare tire. waste of time
3. dont buy the undercoating option
4. ask them for the all weather mats or you'll walk from the deal
