I had a good shop quoted $220 before with top of the line film. it is in Elk Grove Village. That's why I thought $170 is not far from a good quality shop.

The BMW is not harder to do then any other car. They just see it's a BMW and want to charge more.
I'm sorry you wasted so much of your time but to be honest call your losses and go somewhere else.
