Would anyone be able to tell me if I was to get the backup camera, would I be able to retrofit it to my 2016 528i?
And if so how much for the backup camera and wiring harness?

Thanks for the interest. I should have the car towed back to my house either on Monday or Tuesday. At that point, I'll snap pics of the parts you guys were interested in, and post them for you to see their condition.

For people who may be interested in your 6WA Instrument Cluster W. Extended Cont Instrumentenkombi. M. Erw. Umf., they'll need to know the car's mileage (KMs)...If they want transplant your cluster to their car, your cluster should have fewer miles (KMs) than their car.

There are EEPROM and coding tasks required but that's just a matter of logistics. The only go/no-go part is that the donor mileage must be lower than the recipient mileage.

Why would you part it out? Sell it whole, so someone else can fix it. If it only has a bad motor...

I can't find a motor for a reasonable price (cheapest I found was 5500usd) or I would. Plus, it would be a heck of a lot easier if I had a hoist in my garage. While driving, something hit the oil pan and made a hole in it. The motor runs, but doesn't sound that great, so I'd budget for a new short block at the minimum. (obviously a long block would be easiest) Anyways, they're not that easy to come by.

Anyways, I've parted cars out before, If someone will give me a reasonable offer for the car, I'd consider it. Otherwise, I'll just part it out. I'm not too concerned.

Michael, please remember than the cluster would likely only be of interest to those north of the border. While the 6wa is backlit, it will still read KPH as its main display, not MPH.

That's correct. Our clusters ONLY show KM, not miles on the speedometer.
You can change between miles/kmh on the little LCD screen on the cluster tho.

My M3 was a US import, so the cluster was in Miles. I coded the small cluster screen so that it shows KM/H.
