Will driving my 535d with a faulty EGR valve cause damage?
Hey guys, the other day, I got the dreaded "Drivetrain Malfunction" fault code on my 2014 535d. It caused the car to shake and shudder for a while, but was still driveable. I shut the car off immediately, and restarted in hoping it would clear, but it didn't. I drove it for a while, got to my destination and let it sit for about 30 minutes, and it went away. It has come on again, twice in the last three days. My question is, I can't get to the stealership until Friday. Will I damage the engine in any way driving the car until Friday? Thanks!
