Very nice car, congrats! Is it Carbon black, or a so called Jet black?

Enjoy the ride!

I like it, I notice you get more useful center console storage on the manual. I am experimenting with where to leave my phone at the moment it is in the drinks holder, but that is going to annoy me long term.

Great car, enjoy.

48 MPG? That's incredible. I average around 23 in my petrol 535, 29 MPG if it's just highway driving (which it rarely is). The 520 is not available to us in the states.

Nice interior choice. Although the steering wheel appears to be on the wrong side.

Congrats on the car. Nice to see more people byuing manual cares. Today automatic gearboxes seems standard, allthough they are pricey, makes the care take more fuel and makes the car lousier to drive in my opinion.

Strange though how 18" with M-sport makes the tires look fat.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I wanted a manual to be honest as always preferred them. The wife has an auto VW Touerag for when I feel lazy!

The car is Jet Black although i did see a carbon black one recently and it looked really good.

MPG is really impressive, managed 46mpg average today with 160 miles and most of that was city driving

I like the storage compartment on the manuals, my little nokia looks purpose made to sit on the top of it and a packet of gum + loose parking/toll change fit nicely inside.

Ipod intergration is really good to

Nonsense. An auto box allows your left hand to be where it belongs. On the wife's leg. Enhances my performance every time.

Did you delete the smokers pack?

I have deleted the smokers pack on my car that arrives on Thursday. I will be really be annoyed if I don't get the cup holder compartment in front of the gearstick, although I have specified the auto box.
I asked two separate dealers who both assured me that I would not lose the cup holders. Could it be specific to manual cars? If so, that appears a little strange.

Hi

The 2 cupholders are specific to the auto box, the manual cars have less space as the gearstick is further foward hence the smaller storage compartment. Apparently deleting the smokers pack just means little plastic plugs instead of lighters in the 12v sockets (i did delete the smokers pack and this is what i have)

Always nice to see a manual. I really enjoyed the manual 320d's I've driven so I can imagine the fun you're having.

Congrats man - she a beaut.....

I too have ordered the manual to keep the emissions and company car tax down. I have never had a auto before so my reasoning is I won't miss it.

I'm Confused?

You refer to 'Tints' as standard. Are you referring to the rear tinted glass? This is definatly not standard, even on an M Sport.

Sorry I worded that badly, i meant they were a BMW option rather than aftermarket
