19" Style 252 Wheels (Staggered)
Wheels are in SoCal Local pickup is preferred but I'd be willing to ship at buyer's expense. Probably +$150 Wheels Only No Tires, No TPMS, No Center Caps. I used the center caps and TPMS from the wheels that came with my car without problems. Details http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/252
Fit They're designed for the F01 and F07 but wheels actually fit the F10 pretty well. I used the tires from the F01 originally and it really filled in the wheel-well nicely. My car was not lowered and had the stock sport suspension. Never had any problems with bottom outs or rubbing. Condition The tires are dead so I'll be removing them and cleaning up the wheels next week. I'll post more photos then. Overall the wheels seem in good shape with only standard wear. The car was very dirty when I took these at the dealer. Will post clean photos after I take the tires off. Look / Feel When used with the 7 series tires the ride was night and day different from the stock 528i sport. This car is much more stately and solid on the road. The ride was much more comfortable, had less road noise, and still retained it's sportiness. If you have comfort+ mode then you'd be hard pressed to find a difference between this and the 7 series ride. However I thought this was a better setup than the 7 because in sport+ mode the car still handled as well as the 5 does. To me, this is how the 5 series should be. Its the best of both sport and luxury. These wheels are much wider in the rear than the stock F10 wheels. The stance is much more aggressive. Right off the bat the car started getting a lot more attention. After I installed these it was rare to find my car not parked out front at valets. That surprised me since it was the only thing I changed on the car and it was only a 528 after-all. The number one compliment I got with this car was the wheels. If you ask me, (though I'm bias obviously ) these are the best all around wheel for the F10. Why Selling? I bought a 428 Convertible and they won't fit. If they did, I'd be keeping them. Price I'll consider reasonable offers. Shipping would probably be like $150 around the lower 48. Photos Last edited by TimeFor; 11-20-2014 at 06:08 PM.. |
